Doda, April 16 – A 70-year-old woman was found dead in a suspected case of hanging at her home in the Droundi area of Bhalla tehsil in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir’s Chenab Valley on Wednesday, police said. The woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was discovered by family members hanging from a window inside her residence, according to initial information obtained by The Chenab Times. Authorities were immediately alerted following the discovery.

Effective immediately, Mr. Javaid will also hold the charge of Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Doda, alongside his current duties, until further notice.
