    LEHI — Timpanogos Highway was shut down Thursday night due to a diesel fuel spill, according to the Lehi Fire Department. The Lehi FD said in a Facebook post that a trailer hauling diesel fuel overturned and ruptured on the westbound lanes. The trailer was carrying approximately 300 gallons of diesel fuel, according to the post. Lehi FD Hazmat technicians responded to the area, as they worked to contain the spill and stop the leak.

    LOCAL NEWS Apr 19, 2025, 9:25 AM | Updated: 9:25 am SALT LAKE CITY — A woman was arrested Wednesday for five counts of possession with intent to distribute, according to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office. According to the affidavit, agents with the Iron/Garfield/Beaver Narcotics Task Force assisted federal probation with a house check on 72-year-old Roxanna Simkins. The GCSO said Simkins was known to possibly be involved in drug activities related to distribution.
