SALT LAKE CITY — Starting Wednesday, there's a new opportunity to talk with Salt Lake City police officers. The department is launching meetings with the community each quarter. The community meetings will be held at the Sorenson Unity Center, right off California at 900 West. At each meeting, the police department will have a different topic to discuss. The Salt Lake City Police Department has hosted community meetings before, but this is somewhat of a relaunch under the new police chief.
