SAN ANTONIO — The accused killer in the deadly shooting of "King of the Hill" actor Jonathan Joss has been released from jail. KENS 5 cameras captured 56-year-old Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez walking out of the Bexar County Jail on Wednesday afternoon after posting bond set at $200,000. Alvarez is charged with murder, accused of fatally shooting Joss at the site of his former home in a south-side San Antonio neighborhood on Sunday.

Santa Fe city councilors held a special meeting to address the future of Pete's Place, a local homeless shelter. Councilors are expected to vote on whether to terminate the Interfaith Community Shelter lease, the organization currently running Pete's Place. SAN ANTONIO — A shooting led to the discovery of narcotics and weapons at a far west-side San Antonio home and the arrest of a father and son, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said it all started when deputies responded to a shooting on the 400 block of Bluegrass Creek near 1604 and Potranco early Monday morning. Salazar said deputies discovered a wounded 16-year-old boy who had been shot in an suspected drug deal gone wrong.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police said a man who was shot dead at a home on the city's south side Sunday night was a former "King of the Hill" voice actor. 59-year-old Jonathan Joss - legally known as Jonathan Joss Gonzales, was killed in the shooting, police and neighbors said. Joss appeared as John Redcorn in the animated series. SAPD said at around 7:02 p.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Dorsey Street for a shooting in progress.
