AVON, Conn. (WFSB/Gray News) - Authorities in Connecticut say a man has been arrested for drawing a swastika on a Tesla. According to the Avon Police Department, the reported vandalism occurred on March 26 just after 8 p.m., in a parking lot on West Avon Road. The department said the caller said someone had drawn a swastika on their Tesla Model Y with a Sharpie on the driver’s side door. The owners did not see the person responsible, but the car did have security cameras.

The owner of a dog named Teddy is angry after the alleged incident during an April 4 grooming at Dirty Tails in Plainville. She says the salon is not taking responsibility and is trying to dismiss the situation, WFSB reports. “I just want people to know what happened. I want to protect other animals,” Teddy’s owner said.

PLYMOUTH, Conn. (WFSB) - A private members only social club in Plymouth is being forced to close its doors. The town says the club violates zoning regulations, but the owner disagrees. The business in question is called the Wicked Fun Club. Their website describes it as a swingers lifestyle destination. Last Friday, the town issued a cease and desist. They ordered the business to close within 10 days. The owner of the club plans to appeal this letter. The club opened up in November of 2024.

Louis Collette said he hasn’t seen the victim since they were classmates at Barnard Elementary School in Waterbury 20 years ago. Collette said he can still recall playing outside during recess with the victim and having lunch together in the cafeteria. He also brought his Barnard Elementary yearbook from 2005.
