AVON, Conn. (WFSB/Gray News) - Authorities in Connecticut say a man has been arrested for drawing a swastika on a Tesla. According to the Avon Police Department, the reported vandalism occurred on March 26 just after 8 p.m., in a parking lot on West Avon Road. The department said the caller said someone had drawn a swastika on their Tesla Model Y with a Sharpie on the driver’s side door. The owners did not see the person responsible, but the car did have security cameras.

PLYMOUTH, Conn. (WFSB) - A private members only social club in Plymouth is being forced to close its doors. The town says the club violates zoning regulations, but the owner disagrees. The business in question is called the Wicked Fun Club. Their website describes it as a swingers lifestyle destination. Last Friday, the town issued a cease and desist. They ordered the business to close within 10 days. The owner of the club plans to appeal this letter. The club opened up in November of 2024.

Officials said the attack happened on March 3 at Wallace Middle School in Waterbury. According to officials, the two victims were wearing hijab when they were physically assaulted by fellow students. All of the students involved were in seventh grade.
