Finding the best and most affordable off-campus housing as a student can sometimes be a challenge. “I felt like I rushed into it because I just needed to sign somewhere and find a place to live, cause places were selling out,” ECU student Dominick Pendola said. Now, many are expressing their concern about the flood-prone roads and hoping for a change. On Monday, East Carolina University sent out an alert warning that flash flooding could occur over the next few days. In Greenville, cars were left stranded, waiting to be towed, after being met with flooding from overnight storms.

Saturday, hundreds of people gathered at the intersection of 10th Street and Evans Street for the ‘No Kings’ protest, with many holding anti-authoritarian messages showing support for immigrants, as well as pleas to protect democracy.
