MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — Another Oklahoman has fallen victim to stolen SNAP benefits, this time, on Mother’s Day. Jonelaine Williams was buying groceries for her family on Sunday when she realized scammers had wiped her benefits right off her card. “When I seen that on Sunday, it just ruined my Mother’s Day totally. It was terrible,” said Williams. Williams is currently raising her two grandchildren. She normally receives around $400 each month. “They got it all except $18,” said Williams.

Jonathon Kirkwood was headed to pick up his daughter from school on April 30 when he stopped at the eExpress Thunder Plaza Travel stop near South Choctaw Road. "Immediately about a mile, two miles up the road, I broke down on the side of the road with about ten other people all stranded as well," said Kirkwood.

CUSHING, Okla. (KFOR) — A suspect was shot and killed by law enforcement overnight Friday after he pulled out a gun and fired at officers. This happened at around 1:30 a.m. Friday, when Cushing police tried to pull over the suspect, Curtis Russell. The officer spotted a gun in the car, and Russell took off, leading officers on a chase. “There was some fear about you know going to jail,” said Kevin Garrett, Lincoln County Sheriff.

CLEVELAND COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — A family is devastated after a six-year-old boy was mauled to death by dogs. Nikki Maynard’s little cousin was viciously attacked and killed by dogs on Sunday evening. “It’s just very tragic,” said Maynard. “The dad walked out, he saw the dog run, then saw, unfortunately, his son on the ground, unresponsive.”The child’s family owned five outside dogs.
