Elkan Baggott will remain with Ipswich Town for a further season after returning to Portman Road following a season on loan with Blackpool. Former Blackpool loanee Elkan Baggott has had his contract with Ipswich Town extended by an additional 12 months. The recently-relegated Premier League side have activated a one-year option to keep the 22-year-old under contract at Portman Road until next June. Baggott was impacted by injury throughout his campaign on loan with the Seasiders.

Bolton Wanderers have reportedly made a move for Blackpool-linked forward Sam Dalby. Blackpool face some tough competition if they are interested in signing out of contract Wrexham forward Sam Dalby this summer. Seasiders head coach Steve Bruce was spotted watching the 25-year-old last month while he was on loan with Dundee United. During his time in the SPL, the forward bagged 15 goals and two assists in 35 appearances, as he enjoyed regular minutes at Tannadice Park.

A new club was confirmed for ex-Blackpool, Everton and Huddersfield Town defender Peter Clarke over the weekend. Former Blackpool centre back Peter Clarke has extended his 25-year playing career after putting pen to paper with a new club. The 43-year-old departed Warrington Town last month after spending two seasons at Cantilever Park. After first dropping down to non-league in 2023, the defender went on to make 73 appearances for the Yellows in total, scoring twice.
