As office market headwinds continue, a Durham commercial real estate firm is putting iconic Atlanta tower up for sale — and one that is home to the town's National Basketball Association team. Shortly after putting University Tower in Durham up for sale, Dilweg has now listed the 101 Marietta St. tower located in downtown. The 36-story tower dates to the 1970s and is known the chevron silhouette. Since 2022, Dilweg has sold three office buildings and released four back to the lender.

A longtime Atlanta hospitality conference will change venues after 18 years, moving closer to a wave of new investment in Downtown. The Hunter Hotel Investment Conference is relocating next year to the Signia by Hilton Atlanta, its leaders said Tuesday morning as the annual event kicked off. The conference is leaving the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, the city’s largest hotel that decades ago put Atlanta on the map as a major U.S. convention destination.
