The law firm's move from Downtown adds to a surge of leasing activity in the city's legal sector. An Atlanta law firm is relocating after nearly three decades in Downtown, adding to a surge of leasing activity in the city's legal sector. Chamberlain Hrdlicka is moving its Atlanta office to Midtown's 999 Peachtree building, according to CBRE, which represented the law firm in its search. It will leave Downtown’s 191 Peachtree building, where it has been for 27 years.

The law firm plans to move its Atlanta office in early 2026. Another Atlanta law firm is moving to the city’s tallest skyscraper. Ogletree Deakins, which specializes in labor and employment law, is taking a floor at the 55-story Bank of America Plaza. It leased roughly 24,000 square feet for its Atlanta office, according to landlord CP Group. The law firm is relocating from Downtown’s 191 Peachtree building.

It's the latest big idea for Downtown's tourism hub, which is now poised to see well over 1 million square feet of new retail space across multiple projects. Right now, areas between Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena and the Georgia World Congress Center are mostly empty concrete and grass. But picture stepping outside Atlanta’s biggest venues into a district filled with restaurants and attractions.
