    PORTLAND, Ore. — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Southeast Portland Tuesday afternoon. Around 2 p.m., officers responded to reports about a van and motorcycle crash in the area of Southeast 80th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard, where officers found the motorcyclist with serious injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead; police have not identified him.

    PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland police are searching for a missing woman and the van that was involved in a possible abduction Tuesday morning. According to police, around 10:45 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Southeast 162nd Avenue. Just before 10 a.m., a white van pulled up next to a woman walking down the street in that area. A person then exited the van, approached the woman and appeared to usher her into the van before driving off. Police have not identified the woman or the driver.

    PORTLAND, Ore. — MAX Blue Line trains east of the Gateway Transit Center will be back Sunday after a two-week construction project. Said project began April 27, with shuttle buses replacing Blue Line service along the impacted section of the route, specifically between East 172nd Avenue and Cleveland Avenue MAX Station.
