"Saturday through Monday look like the worst at this point, though hot temperatures may continue thereafter," the weather service said on its Facebook page. Romeoville is under a heat advisory, which is in effect from 10 a.m. Saturday to midnight Monday night.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Drivers who travel on Interstate 55 near Bolingbrook should be aware of temporary lane closures over the next two weeks, according to a notification from the Village. The Village said the temporary closures will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as contractors complete the required lighting installation underneath the Interstate 55 bridge at Route 53. "These lane closures will cause traffic delays, so please find alternative routes and avoid the area if possible," the Village said.
