NEW YORK CITY — Two bespoke French brands, Tréca Paris and Maison Janneau, have expanded their presence in the U.S., having opened in Maison Bowery on the Bowery in New York. Bespoke bed brand Tréca Paris offers a personalized bed, including a sleeping system (mattress topper, mattress and bed base) and upholstered headboard and frame. Everything is handcrafted in France; the company manufactures its own springs to assure quality, said Clément Dartois, managing director, North America.

The homeowners called on Heather Mastrangeli of Innovatus Design to transform this space into “a classic and timeless design that incorporated luxurious touches,” she said, as well as required lower maintenance. The clients were avid bathers, Mastrangeil said, so “a luxurious soaking tub was a must.
