The acting director of the VA Medical Center in Hampton has departed. Walt Dannenberg was appointed to lead the center last summer after a shake up following critical investigations by a congressional committee and a federal watchdog agency. Hampton VA spokesperson John Rogers confirmed Tuesday that Dannenberg’s assignment as acting director had concluded.
