KYIV - At least 18 people, including nine children, have been killed in missile attack - one of Moscow's deadliest this year - in a residential area of the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, local officials reported. The attack in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's hometown damaged residential areas and sparked fires, the regional governor said on Telegram. More than 30 people, including a three-month-old baby, are in hospital, said Serhiy Lysak.

The ballistic missile damaged multi-story apartment buildings and set cars and garages on fire, said Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city's military administration, on Telegram. More than 50 people were injured.
