Davis Thompson, the second-year player out of Atlanta won the John Deere Classic today, He set TPC Deere Run on fire today in what became a scoring bonanza for the ages. Thompson finished at a record-breaking -28, with the top 5 all finishing -23 and lower. The top fifteen players all finished at -20 or lower. It has been a very long time since anyone has seen so many players score so well. The final round leaderboard is chock full of 65s, 64s, a few 63s, and even a 62.

With just a couple of weeks left before the New Orleans Saints head to Irvine, CA to start training camp, there are still quite a few unanswered questions concerning the upcoming season.
