They are joining more the 2,500 other law enforcement officers from around the country in the 300-mile bike ride Police Unity Tour.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Will Michele Fiore be reinstated as a Pahrump Justice of the Peace? That’s a decision the Nevada Judicial Discipline Commission is making behind closed doors after a public hearing Friday afternoon. The former Las Vegas councilwoman was found guilty of several counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in October 2024. Fiore collected money to build a police officers’ memorial. Instead, she was found guilty of pocketing the donations.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Vegas Strong Fund, advocates, survivors, legislators and victims’ families came together and pushed for the Forever One Memorial at the Nevada Legislature in Carson City Thursday. It was part of their three-year campaign and effort to raise money for the two-acre memorial. The Forever One Memorial will be a tribute to the 58 victims, survivors and heroes of the 1 October tragedy at the Route 91 Music Festival in Las Vegas in 2017.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Protecting seniors from sophisticated scammers. The Solera Community Center in Henderson hosted a fraud prevention seminar for seniors called, “Robbery Not Reported.”The presentation educated seniors on how scammers can steal their money, data and identity. It also taught seniors the risks, how to spot the warning signs and protect themselves from scams. FOX5 spoke with a man who attended the seminar.

An arrest report explains she was crossing the street Friday morning when she was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver. Now Sophomore students Isabella Cole and Caden Sano are pushing to make the area safer.
