Police officials say a 5-year-old child became unresponsive while at a Pooler neighborhood pool Sunday night. It happened in the Hamilton Grove subdivision, just off Quacco Road, around 6 p.m. Sunday.A spokesperson for the Pooler Police Department says first responders were able to resuscitate the unresponsive child before taking him to the hospital to receive additional treatment. It's unclear how the boy became unresponsive and what his condition is now. This is a developing story.

Two boaters are lucky to be alive after private citizens helped rescue them from the Ogeechee River in Bulloch County. In a post to Facebook, Bulloch deputies say the pair of 19-year-olds were reported missing Saturday night at 9 p.m., after not returning to the River Retreat boat ramp in Brooklet. Private citizens began searching the area between the ramp and GoBar Landing. Deputies enlisted the help of the state Department of Natural Resources and Georgia State Patrol to assist.

We're learning the company, who employed the man who fell into the Ogeechee River while painting under the I-95 bridge in Bryan County, has had several, similar violations from OSHA. Friday marks five days since the publicly unidentified painter, working under the interstate bridge, fell in.

Three Savannah police officers have been placed on indefinite administrative leave. But the reasons why are unclear. Sergeants Samuel (Dale) Hunt and Brent Minton, along with Corporal Alan Contreras, were placed on leave on March 26, according to an email uncovered by WJCL 22 Investigates. The email, sent by Lt. Richard Wiggins, head of the Savannah Police Department's Internal Affairs Unit, instructed command staff of the personnel action.
