Above video: Initial coverage of the incidentNew information has come to light days after someone was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Beaufort County. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, investigators now believe two vehicles struck a pedestrian "who was lying in the roadway."Both vehicles left the scene. It happened Sunday around 11:50 p.m. on Okatie Highway on Lemon Island. According to SCHP, the first vehicle is described as a 2016 - 2018 Honda Civic.
