(WAVY) — After a couple’s son was allegedly buried “in a decrepit, mud-torn, weed and trash-infested section of Roosevelt Memorial Park,” the couple has filed a more than $3 million lawsuit against the burial ground, saying its owners were grossly negligent and reckless. 10 On Your Side, on a number of occasions over the years, has reported on complaints surrounding Roosevelt Memorial Park, to the point where we were asked not to return.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Brittany Pina has a unique perspective of what was going on in the Wave Children’s Learning Center, not only as the mother of a child there, but also, she taught at the facility. Pina, who taught at the Learning Center and had a daughter, Marley Pina-Watson, who attended the school when she was 18-months-old, said her daughter began having health issues that prompted Pina to take her daughter to Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach Police have identified the man they believe stole a massive HVAC system from Studio Center last week, and he’s already in jail for other crimes. William Bohan, 48, faces a grand larceny charge and has been served even though he is in the Norfolk City Jail. He also faces charges in Norfolk for several other crimes.

Norf Circuit Judge Everett Martin dismissed request for special grand jury to determine whether CA Ramin Fatehi is a public nuisance. Judge wrote “Did not set for the existence of one.” He sanctioned a $500 fine against Attny Amina Matheny-Willard who plans appeal. @WAVY_News
