A week later, I’m still sore in places from my rapid and unscheduled departure from the race-prepped Grom. I’m taking it easy, healing up, and grateful that I didn’t break any bones. Even after my daily dose of ibuprofen, I have to say that mini endurance racing was the most fun I’ve had on a motorcycle in a long time. If you’ve never tried road racing before, competition events for Honda Groms, Kawasaki Z125s, modified pit bikes, and other micro machines could be the best place to start.
