AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Stephanie Brady does not wear a cape but she has the credentials to be called a hero. Her charisma and compassion are evident but at first look you would never guess that she has helped save more than 15,000 animals since 2015. “Well, I moved here in 2015,” said Brady. “I went ahead and I contacted Texas Parks and Wildlife and I let them know that I had many years of experience as a wildlife rehabilitator and that they needed me in this area to let me know.
