    AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The United Way of Amarillo and Canyon announced it is seeking referrals for clients to receive free wheelchair ramps during its Day of Caring on May 2. UWAC officials said it is partnering with the Texas Ramp Project to provide ramps at no cost to recipients, set to be built by volunteers aiming to make a hands-on difference in the lives of others.

    AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service said its specialists and county agents will join researchers to host field days across the state during April and May focused on varieties of small grains crops. Field days will begin in Bell County on April 22 and end on May 22 in Amarillo, with 17 events open for wheat producers to hear how crop varieties have performed in different Texas regions.
