MANKATO โ St. Cloud Cathedral can hit with any team in the state. The Crusader softball team's offense is so potent, it can even take down the state's two-time softball player of the year in Randolph senior pitcher Carter Raymond. Tayla Vought's two-run homer off Raymond in the top of the ninth inning propelled Cathedral to a shocking 8-6 upset of top-seeded Randolph in the semifinals of the Class 2A state tournament on Wednesday, June 4, at Caswell Park in Mankato.
