Lyle and Eric Menendez were brothers who murdered their parents Jose and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez. The incident occurred inside their Beverly Hills mansion in 1989. The pair used shotguns to kill the Entertainment Executive and his wife in their living room. There’s no doubt about who did it. The brothers were convicted in 1996 and received a life sentence without the possibility of parole. The prosecution successfully argued that they murdered simply to inherit the family’s fortune.
