A lot of people say: “Who cares about the Oscars.”I can’t blame them. If I remember to tune to into The Academy Awards broadcast, I do. If I don’t, I don’t lose any sleep. Also, I’ve been really disappointed in some Oscar winning movies over the years. I’ve hated them. Yet these movies win all the awards and leave other GREAT movies (at least in my opinion) without even a nomination. That being said- there’s this thing that happens to movies that win.

This time of year temperatures typically barely climb above freezing and reach the mid to upper 30s across the state. But this year, March 10th has history written on it. Wisconsin will be soaking up the sun and enjoying temperatures 30 to 40 degrees above normal. The state is expected to reach highs from the mid 60s to the low 70s.

Senator Sanders has been traveling across the country in recent weeks, hosting rallies in congressional districts where Republican representatives won by small margins in the November election. The rallies are part of his efforts to push back on proposed cuts to federal programs like Medicaid, Social Security, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
