MADISON, Wis. (CIVIC MEDIA) – Spring time brings the threat for severe weather and it’s lining up on a holiday weekend with higher travel expected. This week on Those Were the Days, we will feature a few of our favorite Canadian artists. I realized early on in my record collecting career that some of my best loved artists hailed from Canada. I have purchased lots of vinyl recorded by the Guess Who, Bachman Turner Overdrive, April Wine, Triumph, Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Loverboy, Bryan Adams, Five Man Electrical Band, and Rush. When I was a ‘wee Nee’, I would listen each night to distant AM radio signals.
