COVINGTON, Ga. — Two Walmart employees are dead, and another is in critical condition after a targeted shooting rampage overnight in Newton County. Authorities say 24-year-old Dwayne Eduh opened fire inside the Walmart Supercenter on Salem Road, then drove to a nearby home where he shot and killed a 19-year-old woman. Eduh later turned the gun on himself in South Carolina as deputies attempted to arrest him.

The mother of shooting victim Emile Fields-Marshall is seeking justice as DeKalb police pursue two remaining gunmen. DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The mother of a DeKalb County man is pleading for justice after her 26-year-old son, Emile Fields-Marshall, was shot and killed last Friday. Police have arrested two suspects, but two gunmen remain at large. Fields-Marshall was shot in the chest in the 6000 block of Covington Highway, in the back of an auto body shop.
