    Benjamin Reese, 32, was killed in the crash. DULUTH, Ga. — Authorities have identified the person who died in a motorcycle crash in Duluth on Monday afternoon. Duluth Police said Benjamin Reese, 32, of Duluth, died from his injuries. The crash happened around 4 p.m. along Summit Ridge Parkway near the intersection with Tree Summit Parkway. When officers arrived, they found the rider unresponsive in a grassy area off the road. He was later pronounced dead by Gwinnett County Fire crews.

LAGRANGE, Ga. — A woman is facing aggravated assault charges after police say she tried to attack another woman with a hatchet during an argument Tuesday morning. Officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded around 11:30 a.m. on June 24 to a home on Darden Meadows Drive after receiving a call about an assault. Investigators say the situation began as a verbal dispute between two women.

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — A child who had been missing from Georgia since 2023 is now safe after authorities located them in Connecticut, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. The child was reported missing from Cobb County on Oct. 23, 2023, after their non-custodial mother failed to return them following a court-ordered visitation.
