He did so via the late Middle Ages, bringing us through to the centre of the last century. Models walked in a square formation around three concert grands. Performers Sharleen Chidiac, Adam Tendler, and Dev Hynes (who wrote the main piece) serenaded them.

In April of this year, Omar Apollo descended into the streets of New York clad in a fur OKANE jacket large enough not only to invoke Cruella de Vil but also miraculously shroud the 195 cm singer’s frame. He would go on to wear the same coat on the album cover for God Said No, which dropped at the end of June. “The first thing I thought was, I feel like it’s a little hot for that jacket. I’d be sweating,” chuckles Alex O’Kane, the man who designed the cascading jacket.
