    After two seasons, Lance Tucker has resigned as the head football coach at Demopolis. Tucker confirmed the news to The Tuscaloosa News on Wednesday morning. Tucker is the son of Waldon Tucker, who still remains as one of the winningest coaches in AHSAA history. Lance played quarterback for his father at Fayette County High School and still ranks among the AHSAA's all-time leaders in passes attempted (3rd, 1,202) and passes completions (12th, 586).
