Timothy "Tim" Braatz - Rochester Timothy D. Braatz, 60, of Rochester, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on June 9, 2025, following a medical emergency. Tim was born on November 1, 1964, in Rochester to Kenneth and Sandra (Boyce) Braatz. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1983. He then graduated from Winona State University with a Paralegal degree in 1987.

Gloria Rosemary Best, 82, of Rochester, MN passed away on May 25, 2025 at her New Brighton residence after a long battle with dementia. Gloria was born July 9, 1942 in La Crosse, WI to Orville and Gladys (Overland) Rasmussen. She graduated from Rushford High School in 1960. She married Norman Best in 1962; they later divorced in 1998. The couple adopted their daughter, Susan, in December of 1973.

After a hard-fought battle with cancer over the last five years, Bruce James Unverzagt transitioned from this life on May 18, 2025, at his home in Broomfield, Colorado. He passed in the presence of his wife, surrounded by her love, and the love of family and friends, both near and far. Bruce was born on August 5, 1948, in Austin, Minnesota, to Elaine (Anderson) and Robert Unverzagt Sr. He spent his early years living in Austin, before moving with his family to a farm in rural Dexter, Minnesota.

Mike Bleifus, 62, a lifelong Simpson, MN, resident, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday (May 27, 2025) at Mayo Clinic Rochester – St. Mary's Campus. Michael Allan Bleifus was born on May 4, 1963 in Rochester, MN to Tony and Betty Ann (Jones) Bleifus. He grew up in Simpson, MN and attended Rochester schools, graduating from Mayo HS in 1981. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the U.S Army, serving four years. During this time, he spent two years in Germany serving as a Tank Commander.
