The Concho valley getting a good soaking after an average of one to two inches of rain dumped down in the area in just a few hours, according to the San Angelo National Weather Service (SA NWS). The City of San Angelo received the brunt of the rain with an average of 2 to 3 inches. The National Weather Service’s official rain total in San Angelo for overnight rainfall was 3.19 inches.
