The LGBTQ Sports Hall of Fame is back! And they have released the names of the 12 people who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame later this summer. The Hall of Fame inducted its first class in 2013, including legends like Billie Jean King, Jason Collins, Greg Louganis, Martina Navratilova, Dave Kopay, Tom Waddell and others. Outsports was also inducted into the Hall of Fame in its first year. The Hall of Fame went dormant for about a decade.

Kamala Harris is apparently a big fan of Outsports. Or at least, she’s a big fan of Outsports’ tagline. We’ve been using “Courage Is Contagious” for many years. The simple motto speaks volumes about the work we do at Outsports. It’s even emblazoned right there on our logo. How Harris is using it to inspire people to act in the face of fear, much like LGBTQ athletes do when they come out and be their true selves in the sports world.

Ultimate Pool had their season opening Women’s Pro Series eightball events at Wigan, England, over the weekend. In their Women’s Pro Series 2 final, Harriet Haynes, a two-time world doubles champion and the current third-ranked player in the world, met Lucy Smith, a mathematics PhD who carded a series win last year. Haynes took home her first series win in a wild match that had fans on on the edge of their seats.
