Earlier this month, Springfield Township police came across a meth pipe-toting raccoon named Chewy. This week, police in Doylestown in Wayne County find another raccoon taking their spot in the driver's seat.

The 36-year-old man wanted in connection to a May 3 shooting that injured two people at Royal Palace party center in Akron surrendered to authorities on May 24, police Lt. Michael Murphy confirmed in a press release. Bikash Tamang was wanted for two counts of felonious assault, improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation and improper handling of firearms. He is currently being held at the Summit County Jail. Officers originally responded to the party center at 134 East Tallmadge Ave.
