Over 3,000 people attended the “No Kings Day” rally to protest the Trump administration in downtown San Luis Obispo Saturday. Morning on The Green: A Mustang Music FestivalA free concert event with headliners ZHU and Galantis will take place from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Door open at 3:45 a.m., with student opener I.P. “What’s the Addy?,” who previously opened for Swae Lee last year. Cal Poly students who did not secure tickets may join the standby line.

Swedish EDM opening act Galantis and American EDM artist Zhu are set to headline Cal Poly’s Morning on the Green – A Mustang Music Festival, according to the Cal Poly ticketing website. The free event will take place from 4:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, at the Cal Poly Sports Complex Lower Fields for students 18 and older. According to President Armstrong, each ticket holder is allowed one extra ticket. The plus-one does not have to be a Cal Poly student.

Cal Poly’s St. Fratty’s Day made national headlines due to a roof collapse at the annual block party in 2015. Nine years later, St. Fratty’s resulted in over $24,000 worth of damages at the Red Bricks residence halls. This year, Cal Poly and the City of San Luis Obispo announced a new approach: prevention over containment. The city created a task force to address the destruction and has since implemented a plan to stop the block party and move the festivities onto campus.
