The hare sculpture which has been stolen from Caerwys. (Image: Sandra Evans) POLICE are investigating after a much-loved sculpture was stolen from a Flintshire town. The wooden statue is dedicated to late vet Ian Sergeant, who was popular in the Caerwys community. He had worked at the Somerville Veterinary Practice since 1982 and also had clinics in Greenfield and Rhyl.

James Jones, from Penycae, has been jailed. (Image: NWP) A MAN brandished a knife through a bedroom window after getting involved in a heated argument amongst residents, a court heard. James Jones, of Delfryn in Penycae, appeared before Caernarfon Crown Court for sentencing on Thursday, May 24. The 20-year-old previously, during a hearing at Wrexham Magistrates Court on April 2, pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article in a public place.

The 20mph speed limit has divided opinion in Wales. (Image: PA) NEW RSEARCH has revealed the extent of urban roads in north Wales which are now restricted to 20mph. The majority of residential roads throughout Wales changed from being 30mph to 20mph last September. This was, according to the Welsh Government, to help 'save lives'. But, the move has been heavily criticised by members of the public, politicians and more since it was introduced.

Humphrey Ker, has become a familiar figure at the club - thanks in part to the Welcome to Wrexham documentary in which he featured. He has been working alongside Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds since the celebrity duo took over as co-chairmen of the club in 2021.
