Strawberry farmer from C and J Farms, Beverly Jones, said the farm brought a large truck load of berries before quickly selling out.

OXFORD - Three men from Charlotte, N.C., are facing charges after an alleged attempt to fraudulently purchase lawn tractors at a dealership in Oxford, authorities said Thursday. Calhoun County Sheriff Falon Hurst said staff at Beshears Tractor became suspicious when the men tried to buy multiple tractors using what appeared to be fake identification and loan approval documents.
