AbstractReversible post-translational modification (PTMs) is a fundamental mechanism of cellular signal transduction. In vivo and ex vivo studies to profile PTMs have greatly advanced our understanding of the complexities of cellular signaling. However, apart from the most commonly studied PTMs, large-scale analysis is still very challenging, limiting our understanding of various cellular processes.

Section snippetsMetabolic adaptations: challenges of, and opportunities for, HSCs and LSCsHSCs have long-term self-renewal capabilities and replenish the blood system throughout an individual's lifetime. Quiescence in HSCs maintains their genomic integrity and prevents damage to their stemness. Historically, replication stress, marked by the switch from quiescence to the activation cell cycle stage, was believed to be the primary threat to HSC function [1].
