A Delray Beach police officer was arrested Thursday by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, after allegedly stealing investigative funds. Officer Matthew Cusson faces a charge of grand theft and is suspected of stealing $1,500 in investigate funds from the Delray Beach Police Department's Vice Intelligence Unit. A supervisor reportedly discovered the missing funds and alerted authorities.

One man is dead after investigators say a possible fight between cousins took a deadly turn in Hobe Sound. According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, a man was shot and killed in the Banner Lake community off Southeast Begonia Way. The shooter, another adult male, stayed on the scene and was questioned at the sheriff's office. The victim, identified as Ernie Smith, died at the hospital.

A suspect in a computer pop-up scam is in Martin County Jail after deputies say he stole $50,000 from a local senior citizen. Weikai Zhang, 43, was arrested in New York and charged with organized scheme to defraud, exploitation of a person 65 years or older, and conspiracy to commit grand theft. In a social media post, the Martin County Sheriff's Office says Zhang is part of a larger criminal organization that targets the elderly via internet scams.

In body cam footage posted to social media, an unmarked police unit can be seen behind the car. The bride, who's in the passenger's seat, tells the officer she's trying to get to the courthouse in Stuart for a 2:30 p.m. ceremony. "You're already late," the officer responds. Driver-engineer David Wyatt is no longer employed by Delray Beach Fire Rescue, after an investigation was launched by the city. The decision to terminate Wyatt came from City Manager Terrence R. On Friday, Glen DeCicco was arrested for threats posted to social media, after Jupiter police were alerted to a Facebook post DiCicco made. Jupiter police, working with the United States Secret Service, interviewed DiCicco and he was taken into custody without incident. He faces charges of making written threats to kill. The Martin County Sheriff's Office arrested a man suspected of attempted burglary early Wednesday morning, after a homeowner at a Jensen Beach apartment complex spotted him going from door to door. Surveillance footage shows a man with horn tattoos on his face, carrying two large bags at a the door of an apartment on North East Ocean Boulevard. After a search, MCSO deputies located and arrested 46-year-old Jonathan Richards nearby.
