The tower that most recently housed Neiman Marcus’ corporate office appears to be headed for a mixed-use metamorphosis. City of Dallas documents reveal that Nexpoint Diversified Real Estate Trust is planning new uses to both the tower itself and the surrounding land at 2711 N. Haskell Ave. The site was acquired by Nexpoint in 2018. Plans include four phases of work that would introduce both new builds and a revamp of the 42-story tower, which was built in 1985.

The news was revealed during a luncheon hosted by the Ruth Sharp Altshuler Tocqueville Society at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. The society is comprised of civic and business leaders who make annual contributions of $10,000 or more to United Way.
