AUSTIN, Texas — INVEST 91LWe've been watching it for several days now, but a tropical wave has now emerged in the Gulf of Mexico. Invest 91L is slowly organizing in the Gulf of Mexico and the National Hurricane Center is giving it a medium 60% chance to develop into a tropical system over the next 48 hours. 2 PM Sunday Tropical Outlook (National Hurricane Center)Over the next 48 hours, it will continue its journey west across the Gulf of Mexico before likely making it into South Texas by Tuesday.
