The Skiers are now 8-0 entering Thursday’s game at Eagle Valley (0-9). AHS already beat the Devils, 17-1, in the season opener on March 11.

    The Aspen Hall of Fame held its annual dinner and induction ceremony on Sunday night inside the Hotel Jerome in Aspen, where it welcomed four new members to the prestigious club. Hall of fame co-presidents Pat Bingham and Walker Moriarty led the ceremony. Being inducted were Erin Fernandez-Ely, Paul Andersen, and Bob and Ruth Wade. Fernandez-Ely served as the Pitkin County Court Judge from 2000-2021, where she presided over 30,000 cases and 60 jury trials.

    The Alehouse restaurant hosted its annual closing day party on Sunday at Aspen Highlands, sending the popular ski area into the offseason with a emphatic bang. DJs performed, and people danced into the evening after taking their final lift-assisted bowl laps of the winter. With Buttermilk having closed last weekend, only Aspen Mountain and Snowmass remain open, and both are set to close this coming weekend.

Thompson Musical” on Friday at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen. Best known for writing the Broadway musical “Be More Chill,” Iconis said he spent more than a decade working on the Hunter S. Thompson musical. The legendary figure behind Gonzo journalism, Thompson was a Pitkin County resident from the late 1960s until his death in 2005.
