The half-acre parcel of land is located on 28th Avenue North, right next door to the existing Hadley Park Library branch. The existing Hadley Park Library was opened in 1952 and was renovated to double its size in 1995. North Nashville is a step closer to getting a major library upgrade. At its April 15 meeting, the Metro Nashville Council approved a resolution to purchase a half-acre parcel on 28th Avenue North for $2.1 million, to be used for the construction of a new public library.
