Eight years ago, at the age of 53, Jeff Miller woke up, got out of bed and fell to the floor. Although he was having trouble seeing, he managed to get down the stairs to the first floor of his home where he called 911. He knew something was wrong and was later told that his speech during that emergency call made no sense. The last thing he remembers was an ambulance taking him to his local hospital in a small town outside of Chicago.
