WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Emergency crews responded Thursday to a crash involving a motorcycle on southbound I-135 near 47th Street South. The crash was reported around 9:40 p.m.The Kansas Highway Patrol said a motorcycle was southbound on I-135 when a Ford Escape changed lanes. The motorcycle rear-ended the SUV. The 52-year-old man on the motorcycle was injured and taken to Via Christi St. Francis Hospital. The driver of the Escape wasn’t injured. For more Kansas news, click here.

KIOWA COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — A woman and two Fowler students were killed in a crash involving a pickup and semi on U.S. Highway 54 in Kiowa County. The crash happened west of Greensburg just after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Ford F-150 was westbound in the eastbound lane. A semi was eastbound in the eastbound lane. Troopers said the semi went left of center to avoid the pickup, but the pickup returned to the westbound lane and the two collided.

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita Police say a man has been booked into jail in connection with a shooting early Saturday morning in Riverside. Police say the 19-year-old suspect has been booked into the Sedgwick County Jail for four counts of aggravated battery related to the shooting that happened at an apartment complex in the 500 block of West Central. It happened around 2 a.m. as police were in the area investigating an unrelated incident.

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Wichita Police Department is investigating an incident that sent one person to the hospital Wednesday night. Around 7:40 p.m., officers were called to the 1100 block of N. State St. for the report of a stabbing. Sedgwick County Dispatch confirmed that one person received potential critical injuries. KSN News sent a crew to the scene, where officers said an altercation between two individuals resulted in one person being injured and taken to the hospital.
