Court storming is a time-honored tradition found throughout collegiate basketball. In recent weeks, it has come to the forefront of basketball discourse after rabid Wake Forest fans’ brutal mutilation of Duke star Kyle Filipowski. In light of recent events, court storming needs to come to an immediate end. However exciting it may be for its participants, we have a moral obligation to preserve civilized society, and this requires that we abolish this primitive practice.
