The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising its customers in Chaguaramas, Carenage, Pt Cumana and Glencoe of an unplanned disruption to their water supply, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 3. In an advisory, WASA said this is due to a T&TEC power outage that would impact operations at the Tucker Valley Water Treatment Plant. The disruption is expected between 9am and 4pm.

Police are investigating a report of larceny after a St Helena man discovered his apartment had been broken into and over $100,000 was missing. According to police, the 46-year-old real estate agent secured his third-floor apartment along Madras Road, around 9am on Saturday, before leaving. Upon returning around 6pm the same day, he observed that the front door on the northern side of the apartment had been forced open.

Police are investigating a wounding incident in the La Brea district after an unidentified man was dropped off at the Point Fortin Hospital around 9:30pm on Saturday. According to reports, the man, believed to be of African descent with a dark complexion, plaited hairstyle, and tattoos on his right hand, was unresponsive when brought to the facility by an unknown individual.
