SMYRNA, DE– A serious crash on a US 13 (Dupont Parkway) exit ramp caused detours and delays for drivers Thursday morning. The multi-vehicle crash was reported around 4:40 a.m. at the northbound exit 119 ramp to DE 1 (Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway). Delaware's Department of Transportation (DelDOT) quickly closed the ramp and redirected traffic in both directions on Dupont Parkway, warning drivers to expect delays and seek alternate routes through the area.

DOVER, DE– Delaware State Police arrested a Kent County firefighter for felony theft from his former company. Troopers responded to the Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company in Leipsec on April 19 for reports of $3,600 in unauthorized charges on a company credit card, according to a press release. Investigators determined 30-year-old Raheim Clifton, then a company member, allegedly gained access to and used the card for personal purchases.
