The North Pontotoc Junior High Football team recently completed its 2023 season. The 8th grade Viking finished with a record of 3-4 with two wins over South Pontotoc and a win over Mooreville. Leading rushers for the Vikings were Quay Gooch with 267 yards, Trendon Harden with 204 yards, and Cayson Jenson with 123 yards. Trendon Harden was also the leading receiver with 5 receptions for 61 yards. Cayson Jensen led the passing attack with 12 completions in 46 attempts for 130 yards and a touchdown.
